BACTIGRAS is for external use only. BACTIGRAS should not be used in known cases of sensitivity or allergy to chlorhexidine. Allergic reactions to chlorhexidine have been reported, but are rare. Dermatitis, contact sensitivity or light sensitivity may rarely occur. Avoid contact with eyes. BACTIGRAS should not be used on more than 10% of the body area. Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds and burns, or if redness or discomfort occurs. BACTIGRAS is incompatible with soaps, some skin cleansers and potassium iodide. The use of BACTIGRAS with wound cleansing agents such as iodine solutions, hydrogen peroxide and Eusol should be avoided. Sterile unless opened or damaged.
